The Cub Hut is the smaller of our two main accommodation buildings (it can also be booked for day events etc).
For normal residential use it can support a maximum group of 18 young people in the main hall, there are three side-rooms, each of which contains a bunk-bed (i.e. two beds per room). One of the side-rooms has a sink, and is often used as a first-aid facility.
For residential stays the maximum party size is therefore 24, this will not be exceeded under any circumstances due to fire safety regulations.
The main hall is equipped with tables and chairs, and is heated by wall mounted electric fan heaters (no extra charge).
The large kitchen is fully equipped with cooking equipment, a hot water urn, toasters, eating utensils and crockery. A cooker is provided, along with full washing up facilities. The use of the fridge and fridge/freezer are included in the hire charge.
At the rear of the building is a large open glade suitable for large numbers of tents, along with an outside cooking area, use of which is also included in the hire charge.
