The Scout Hut is the larger of our two main accommodation buildings (it can also be booked for day events etc).
For normal residential use it can support a maximum group of 24 young people in the main hall, there are two side-rooms, one contains 3 bunk-beds (six beds) and the other has one bunk-bed (two beds).
For residential stays the maximum party size is therefore 32, this will not be exceeded under any circumstances due to fire safety regulations.
Space can be allocated on camping areas near to the Scout Hut for tents (note this will be 'near' to the hut, but not adjacent to it).
The main hall is equipped with tables and chairs, and is heated by gas heaters.
The kitchen is equipped with two gas cookers, cooking pots & pans, a hot water urn, toaster, eating utensils and crockery.
The use of a large fridge and chest freezer are included in the hire charge.
