The campsite consists of 17 acres of english woodland, accessible via a network of paths that run across the site. Ample car-parking is available, in most cases vehicles cannot be driven onto sites, however a number of trolleys are available to assist with equipment transfer.
A camp-fire circle is available for larger gatherings, wood fires are permitted provided they are raised from the ground on metal sheeting, bricks, or are constructed as altar fires. Trees must not be cut down for firewood but fallen timber may be burnt. Wood for burning is often available on the wood-pile (for reasons of safety, entry by adults only).
There are water points across the site, along with a purpose-built washing-up area adjacent to the main toilet block.
The toilet block has facilities that can support large numbers on site, with hot running water and showers.
Most of the camping areas have a variety of covered outdoor cooking facilities to assist with catering.
Further details and photographs will be appearing here in due course.
