The Lodge is a facility intended for use primarily by the local scouting district and county, however it does contain our museum which is home to many scouting treasures, from both the local area and further afield, so even if you do not use the building, a short tour can be a fascinating experience !
For local users the building can be many things; a place for leaders to use during a camp or event, or somewhere for formal meetings, dinners, functions or presentations, there are many possibilities.
The Lodge has a small urn for making refreshments, and is equipped with a projector screen over the fireplace.
If exclusive use is required for a particular function or meeting, please ensure you book.
If as a visitor you would like to see the scouting memorabilia within the Lodge, please enquire when you book so that this can be arranged, young people can visit also, provided they are supervised.
